Just a quick update today as we’re enjoying a visit with our birthmom and her adorable daughter tonight. They made the trip to help celebrate the boys’ birth-great grandmother’s 75th birthday, whom our family adores. I’m so thankful for our amazing extended family! Happy to report I did well in the food choices department—it wasn’t easy being around pizza and cake (two of my favorite food groups). My satiety didn’t come from food, but rather the company and conversation.
Wins: Made a yummy flavored water with Tazo Passion tea bags, lemons, and ginger—it was amazing and I think it’s going to be a staple in my fridge.
Flubs: That darn coffee. And we don’t need to talk about exercise.
